Dalway's Bawn has had an overhaul ahead of next week's second round of the 2016 Carrick Grasstrack Championship to keep riders and spectators interest at a premium. We have pretty much binned the previous track layout, levelled the ground and started to create what will hopefully be a more fast and flowing track. We have also widened the circuit throughout to give everyone that bit extra space and in theory, stop the riders taking posts out!
Make sure you have made plans to attend, especially if you are sitting nicely after round one of the championship, the ground is in great condition and we are looking forward to seeing how the new layout performs.
Racing will be extended in line with the longer summer evenings so riders will get as much track time as possible. Remember that while we will take entries on the night where spaces allows but you can save yourself £5 by pre-entering by post or £3 online ahead of Monday night at 8pm. Full details of both events are below, we hope to see many of you make the trip to Carrickfergus for what should be a great two nights of racing.
