Carrickfergus & District Motorcycle Club can confirm that it has applied to the governing body (MRA Ireland) requesting permission to run the previously postponed Youth Grasstrack on TUESDAY 8TH JULY at Quay Park in Larne starting at 6pm.

Entry forms are now available to download & online entry is also open on www.carrickfergusmcc.co.uk in anticipation of the date application being successful so competitors can head over and pre enter the event as normal in the meantime. We will learn if the application is successful on 03/07/2014 but we don't forsee any problems and are planning ahead to go racing.

After discussions with the relevant parties over the past couple of weeks, the landowner has kindly extended the timeframe we have for use of the land which has allowed us to apply for the new date.

The postponment of the previous event was out of our hands but we hope that the new date suits everyone and youth turn out in numbers for this fantastic evening grasstrack event.

As was the case for the previous event, Norman Watt Motorcycles have sponsored voucher awards for each class with 1st place overall receiving a £30 voucher, 2nd £20 & 3rd £10 for that extra bit of incentive to race.
